I'm......Back!!!

Well I got the hint.......GOT THE HINT  (letting my baby girl know I got her hint to post more ofen).......so I thought I would share some of my beginner cards...

and as you can see....no die cuts.. I was into buttons and flowers....

this one was made using large (and I mean large) stamp from SU.... (which a sweet friend gave to me...Thanks Lori) I embossed it and cut it out... cutting off the second flower and pop-dotting it to a script embossed base and of course I added the so called "famous" skittles..I colored with a red tombow marker.....I was into stamping (which my DD got my into)

see more stamping, beads and ribbon and the card below is stamped (CTMH) and I used oil pastals 

that you would rub on wax paper then use a q-tip and color the image..

Anyway....it is now 11:45 and I got to get to bed...going to visit the little guys tomorrow

and its a 2hr drive and I have to be there BEFORE  11:00 (my son-dada has a dentist appt) and I'm going to watch the two boys :)

Well here I am.....just thought I would stop by and post a few pics of baby cards I did (some time ago..I must add)

and of course had to do one for a boy too......

and the next two  I thought came out pretty cute (if I do say so myself).....

here is one I made for my beautiful daughter, she needed a card for a baby shower and wanted me to use this ribbon....

 the ribbon is cloth and much more colorful then the pic shows...(does that make sense?)
who knows.....
And now that I'm ready to publish this post I noticed in the preview I didn't post pic of the insides of the cards (see what happens when I try to do something after midnite)

How Awesome.....

I had visitors....how nice of you to stop by to check out my place...(I have to visit more often too :)  after all it is my place)  .....

Oh....... I went to the scrapbook expo with my niece on Friday...we had a great time and we got to pick up some of those Promarkers, thats buzzing around a few blogs...also picked some Japanese vellum paper(beautiful!) and bling of all colors shapes and sizes can you believe it for only ,99cents each, rolls of adhesive tape...also the sizzix booth demo Tim Holtz new toy...an electric die and embossing machine (meaning like the big shot/cuttlebug)...it even cuts and embosses metal!!! like butter...just with a touch of your finger (well... you had to hold down the button til it passes through).....

Did I mentioned I had a B-day??? (why would I....just to let you know I'm getting deeper into the senior citizen bracket...but not close enough to collect SS :( still have to wait another year).... but I did receive phone calls from my beautiful children, big hugs from my grandchildren...just luving it..is all I can say....

With a little guidance from my friends........

I think I'll be able  to get the hang of  uploading some pics (need to show I do, do something besides blog hop all day...hehehe)....so I'll start with a few valentine cards I made.......

this was made using ACY pop dotted on heart embossed white paper layered on pattern paper from my stash (sounds good huh?...just because I don't remember where I got the paper from) next one...

and this is the one I thought resembled  shelly's card(which she is hosting BBTB this week) but really it was just kinda the same design...... the hearts were from the large and small marvy punches and the stamped heart from a single wooden stamp heart.......and you know where the pp came from.....so on to the next one...

isn't this one the cutest.....I used the sweetheat cart for the hearts at one inch and the stamps are CTMH and the pp is from the same stash...
(so how am I doing on the pics??? I'm having fun here :).....

this one I used the neg of the heart cuts from the above card and just sponged brillance ink in the heart, the globe is from doodlecharm b/o and I added the center part from the gum machine and love are  from the sweetheart cart..you can't see it but I also layered transparency film on globe to look like glass......there is more...but I stop here (big pout just b/c I finally got it)....

Now that I know (somewhat) of what I'm doing I'll be back to add more pics(and oh boy...... do I have pics)......

OOOh My Goodness!!!!

Are we seriously in February already?? (isn't that the silliest question we always ask?) It will be my beautiful daughter's B-Day this Sunday....but she will be catering to her boys (hubby and son..of course) cause its Superbowl time......

Did you see I have one follower (sitting here..saying "how sweet Shelly is") she makes the most beautiful cards...(I'll come back and post her blog)
I was looking at BBTB (Bitten By The Bug) and Shelly had posted her card....and it happen to be kind of same design as mine :) just different color scheme and it surprised me...(now if I could only get the hang of posting my cards???????  BUT I will...just wait and see (but don't hold your breath)
Anyway....until then....

Had some spare Time.....

Watching  my precious sweeties again :) (that makes grandma... soooo happy)..and bed time has come around....8:00pm is late for them (did I mention their ages?? 2 and a 7mos old..Boy does granny need her Gerotal!) and of course that is way too early for me (since you can see what time I do my posting)...... Well, I'm still trying to figure out how do I get into my blog without going into someone 's blog first???? then click on sign in (jump in anytime)....
anyway.....back to the drawing board ( or should I say...back to the instructions)

I still haven't even tried to upload some of my work(so what new?? did I think I would :|  Maybe I'll just play around with the background scheme and the gadgets...and get serious some other time...
